Cross-Sound Cable Company is committed to the environment and the well-being of our employees, communities, and contractors. We strive for excellence in health, safety, security, and environmental performance. In 2018, we advanced the development of an Environmental, Health, and Safety Policy, communicated our commitments to our major contractors, and established a stakeholder engagement plan for 2018 and 2019.

CSC is actively managing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) risks across its operations and advancing sustainability initiatives within the organization. We recognize our responsibility to ensure the health and safety of our employees, contractors, and members of our local communities. In support of these objectives, we aim to comply with all applicable health and safety regulations, maintain a safe working environment for our employees and contractors, and mitigate our environmental impacts over time. This includes reducing our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and waste and protecting local biodiversity and habitats.

Having actionable ESG objectives is important for CSC to hold itself accountable and ensure it follows best practices.

CSC’s specific ESG objectives for 2026:

• Environmental: Having updated both the physical and transition risk climate assessments and identified climate risk opportunities, CSC will formally incorporate the findings into its operational, business continuity, and long-term capital plans in 2026.
• Social: CSC will provide annual health and safety training to all full-time employees.
• Governance: CSC requires all employees to complete annual cybersecurity training and to review cybersecurity bulletins quarterly.
• Human Capital: Provide ongoing technical and safety training to all operations personnel to maintain the skills and competencies needed for safe, reliable operations.
